Harmony MS Hornets defeated the Blue Ridge MS Bulldogs 16-0 on Monday thanks in part to 10 runs in the second inning.  an error scored one run, James van der Post singled, scoring one run, Corey Morrison drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, Nathaniel House drew a walk, scoring one run, Aiden Olejer grounded out, scoring one run, Whitaker Rogers tripled, scoring two runs, and van der Post doubled, scoring one run.
Harmony MS Hornets got on the board in the top of the first inning after an error scored one run, Spencer Lee induced Landon Boring to hit into a fielder’s choice, but two runs scored, an error scored one run, and one run scored on another play.
Noah Bonnette earned the win for Harmony MS Hornets. The righty gave up two hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out four and walking none. Lee took the loss for Blue Ridge MS Bulldogs. He went one inning, allowing eight runs (two earned) on three hits, striking out none and walking one. Kellan Daniel tossed one inning of no-run ball for Harmony MS Hornets in relief. The right-handed pitcher surrendered one hit, striking out two and walking none.
Rogers and van der Post were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Harmony MS Hornets. Boring provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Harmony MS Hornets with four runs batted in.  House stole two bases. Harmony MS Hornets turned one double play in the game.
Tank Baber, Camden Krawczyk, and Lee each collected one hit for Blue Ridge MS Bulldogs.
