ULLL All Star Rosters Announced
Upper Loudoun Little League is pleased to announce the All Star Team rosters for each age group of the 2023 Spring Season.
Teams compete amongst the other leagues in District 16. Champions from each District travel to compete among other Districts in the State tournaments. For the Little League World Series division (10/11/12) State champions then move onto the Regional tournament. Virginia is a part of the Southeast Region. Region champions then advance to Williamsport, PA for the Little League World Series. The Juniors and Seniors divisions also have similar World Series paths, but separate tournament dates and locations for each. The Juniors and Seniors Word Series Tournaments are in Taylor, MI and Easley, SC, respectively.
District All-Stars are selected through a lengthy process that includes nominations by the Managers of the player pitch divisions (Majors, AAA, and AA) in each respective league (AL and NL) – with the final roster selected by committees for each league (AL and NL) composed of the ULLL’s Majors Managers, the ULLL Player Agent, ULLL President and the respective All Star Team Managers. Additionally, this year, the ULLL’s AAA Managers have also assisted with the selection of the District 8-10 All Star Teams.
