2025 Spring Champions - Majors Nationals
Blake T. turned in a perfect day at the plate and the Nationals Majors ULLL turned in a complete performance, blanking the Yankees Majors ULLL 8–0 on Wednesday evening at Haske Field.
Blake led the offensive charge, going 3-for-3 with a triple and two singles. He set the tone early with a run-scoring single in the first, added another base hit in the third, and capped off his big day with a triple to right-center in the fifth.
The Nationals wasted no time getting on the board, plating a run in the first on Blake’s RBI single and tacking on another in the second thanks to a Yankees fielding error. They broke the game open in the third when Nathan H. singled home a run to make it 4–0.
From there, the Nationals never looked back.
Braden M. was lights-out on the mound, tossing five scoreless innings while allowing just one hit. He struck out six and walked two, keeping the Yankees’ bats quiet all game. On the other side, Bowen H. took the ball for the Yankees and allowed three runs—only one earned—across two innings, striking out two.
The Nationals pounded out 13 hits in the win, spreading the wealth up and down the lineup. Braden, Blake, AJ H., and Nathan H. each drove in a run, while Hudson W. chipped in with a 2-for-3 performance.
Defensively, the Nationals were flawless, not committing a single error in the field. Nathan H. anchored the defense with six clean plays.
Cam F. collected the lone hit for the Yankees, who couldn’t solve Braden’s mix of command and power.
With dominant pitching, clean defense, and a relentless offense led by Blake T., the Nationals Majors ULLL secured a convincing shutout victory and concluded their strong campaign.
